Left Console

The left console in the A-4E carries navigation and communications gear, plus the cockpit lighting controls — the throttle quadrant, the radios, TACAN, compass, and the interior/exterior light panels.

Planned panel groups

  • Throttle Panel — the throttle quadrant (switches and indicators); routes through DCS-BIOS. Note: the throttle axis is separate — it's a HID axis on the replica throttle, see Flight Controls.
  • Navigation & Comms — AN/APG-53A Radar Control, AN/ARC-51A UHF Radio, AN/ARN-52 TACAN, Compass Control
  • Lighting — Interior Lights, Exterior Lights

All planned — no hardware yet

Nothing on the left console is designed yet — no schematics, no PCBs, no firmware. These are scoped panel groups waiting for someone to start them.
