Center Console

The center console sits between the pilot's knees in the A-4E — it carries the armament management controls and the central flight instruments. It's the most developed part of the cockpit: the Armament Group is the only panel group in the whole build with real hardware designed.

The active work. Host board plus two breakout boards have completed schematics; firmware is a Phase 6 stub pending end-to-end integration. See the Armament Group overview for the per-panel hardware status.

Flight Instruments

Planned — contributions welcome

The center console's flight instruments — the Wheels & Flaps position indicator, the Caution Panel ladder lights, the Pilot Advisory ladder lights, and the AN/APG-53A Radar Indicator — are planned. No hardware is designed yet. Want to help build one? See How to Contribute.
